
DRAMA-Mount Olive presents an annual drama or musical production in the spring. Upper-grade students are invited to audition for main, supporting, and stage crew roles. Past productions have included Willy Wonka, Jr., Mary Poppins, Aladdin, Annie, and many more!

SINGING-Mount Olive students regularly participate in choral singing during worship services. Learning songs and hymns are a regular part of Christian education at Mount Olive. Students typically sing for three Sunday worship services at Mount Olive, three at Peace in North Mankato, our Children’s Christmas Service, and graduation.

BAND-Students in grades 4-8 can elect to participate in our grade school band program. Students receive individual and whole group lessons, performing multiple times throughout the school year. Participants in the band range from first-time players to seasoned musicians, including brass, woodwinds, and percussion instruments.

FIELD TRIPS- Students and teachers at Mount Olive participate in a wide variety of field trips throughout the school year. Past field trip experiences have included: US Bank Stadium, the state capital, James J. Hill House, Gorman Park, Emma Krumbee’s, Minnesota Zoo, Fort Ridgley, Treaty Site History Center, History Fest, Williams Nature Center, and countless other local sites.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE– Care is available to any student enrolled at Mount Olive for a nominal, per hour fee. Families are free to use this service when needed and billed monthly for hours used. Students are supervised at all times and provided with snacks, homework time, arts and crafts, outdoor or gym time, games, and various events throughout the school year.
